Recent Site Updates

You've requested it and here it is .... our Crichtonisms Update page. Along with this update page, we've rearranged our site a bit to ease what is quickly becoming a big site for Alex and I to maintain. So in the words of the infamous Jeff Foxworthy, "Now what we gonna do is..." :-)

This page will contain our site updates in detail with links to the pages we've changed. You see, we get between 5 and 25 emails a day, on average. Each with a little bit of info or a suggestion on a Crichtonism. We do some research and find out whether the email writer is on to something or totally frelled. We either email them and tell them to get a clue (not really, but you get the idea) or we update an obscure Crichtonism and thank the email writer for their glorious insight.

And while I (this is Jenn, BTW) hopefully have your attention, I'd like to point out the incredible load of work I did researching the word "mojo" which John uses in "Die Me, Dichotomy" and again in "Twice Shy." Someone wrote me a while ago and suggested that "mojo" came from Austin Powers, but I wanted to be sure and did some checking. Four hours later, I needed an aspirin, but I had my answer and had greatly added to the contents of the "Die Me" Crichtonisms page (my many paragraphs about "mojo" are at the bottom of the page). And .... tada .... you now have a link to one of our updates.

August 31, 2004

Just really quick for now - spoilers, conventions, links and the index page have been updated.  Information included of special note is the Farscape Peacekeeper Wars trailer that is now available for viewing on the internet.

March 10, 2004

We got an email last week telling us our site was down and asking if we'd closed Crichtonisms altogether. Good thing I'd updated recently, because for some odd reason our site was completely deleted from the servers....accidentally. It took a few days to get it all figured out and I uploaded the site again last night. So now we're back and we've made arrangements to keep this site up for at least two more years. Hopefully news about the miniseries will be out soon and maybe sometime this summer Alex and I will have new eps to post. Thanks for the continued support everyone. We love hearing from you!

December 17, 2003

I finally got all my Burbank convention pictures online. Sorry for the big delay.

December 15, 2003

I've finally finished all the updates I have so far....but am afraid to check my email, because I'll be behind again. I updated all the biographies to include the new miniseries information and work that everyone has been doing in the interim. I also added Crichtonisms to Rhapsody in Blue, They've Got a Secret, Vitas Mortis, Scratch 'n Sniff and Crichton Kicks. I added a link to the Clamshell Music Video Awards page too....you still have time to nominate your favorite music vids.

Eight hours and counting until I leave for the Convention in Burbank. I've done some site updates. Mostly based off of emails I've received in recent months. I'm still working on the Links page and a few other Crichtonisms that need more research. I'll get to them next week. For now, pages that have been updated are: Til The Blood Runs Clear, Hidden Memory, Family Ties, Self-Inflicted Wounds, Part 1, Green Eyed Monster, Meltdown, Lava Is a Many Splendored Thing, We're So Screwed, Part 3, Chiana's Nickname page and finally....the Links page.

April 7, 2003

Creation held a convention in Portland, Oregon (home of Jenn) and Alex and I were there, complete with a "Save Farscape" table. The table was manned by the local Pacific Northwest Farscape Fans, of which I am a part. Virginia Hey and Wayne Pygram were guests at the con on Saturday. I've posted plenty of piccies, with more to come, so enjoy.
