Mooning someone is to pull down your pants and point your naked behind at them. This plan could only be John's.

J: (to Rygel) Can it, Furball.
"Can it" is a not too polite way of telling someone to stop talking.

J: An, they say you need to walk a mile in someone's shoes to understand them.
A: I certainly know what you were doing when you were in my shoes, Crichton.
J: Gimme a break.
