2x21 - Liars, Guns, and Money, Part 3: Plan B

J: (to Scorpius) All right, Fronkensteen, let's get it on, get your property out of my head.
We had a reader write in and tell us that Fronkensteen is a reference to the Mel Brooks movie Young Frankenstein. Gene Wilder plays the grandson of the original Dr. Frankenstein and he is in denial about past, so he demands his name be pronounced Fronkensteen.

J: It's kinda hard not to flinch here, Scorpy, with Frau Blucher ticklin' my prostate.
Frau Blucher is a reference to Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein, as well. She's the creepy housekeeper hilariously portrayed by Cloris Leachman

J: See, Flavius Scorpius here wants to visit foreign lands, meet foreign people, and conquer them.
Reference to the Roman empire and all their Caesars, but we had a site fan write in and tell us that it is also a reference to a common joke in response to the Army's past recruitment campaign. The campaign advertised that enlistees could go to foreign
lands, meet wonderful new people, etc. The joke added "and kill them."

J: (To Natira) Oh, dear, dear, dear, what has Moya done here? You are so screwed, Medusa!
hmm, John once called D'Argo Medusa. Medusa is a Greek mythological character famed for having wriggling snakes for
hair and for ugliness so great she turned all who saw her to stone.
