1X14 - Jeremiah Crichton

D: It’s not my technology, it’s leviathan technology.
J: D’Argo, I don’t give a rat’s ass what you wanna call it.

Z: John. Is something wrong?
J: Yep. I’m fed up.
Z: ‘Fed up’? Does...
J: Oh, I’m sorry. Is this gonna be another translator microbe hiccup? ‘Oh, John. You’re fed up -- does that mean you’ve had too many food cubes, today?’ It was cute, it was vaguely, *vaguely* amusing the first six billion times.
"Fed up" is an expression meaning to be completely frustrated.

A: Crichton, I don’t understand what you’re talking about.
J: I’m going for a drive...hitting the strip...I’m going cruising.
A (completely confused now): What’s going on?
Obviously that explanation didn't help.

J: Oh, god, that is it -- you are so damn smart. There’s no time for stupid human anything. And I’m sick of it, Aeryn. I’m sick of Napoleon XVI. I’m sick of blue. I’m sick of tentacle boy. And guess what? I’m sick of you. I’m sick of this whole turd-burp end of the universe.

John, in his module, sees Moya starburst--
J: You guys are bugging out on me?

J: Well, hakuna matata, masata, we got a big problem.
Hakuna Matata is a song from Disney's "The Lion King."

J: The slug who would be king.
"The Man Who Would Be King" by Rudyard Kipling (later a very good film starring Sean Connery & Michael Caine) tells the tale of two adventurers who try to make their fortunes by conning the inhabitants of the remote Middle-Eastern land of Kafiristan.
