1X11 - 'Til the Blood Runs Clear

J: Woo! Hey, hey, hey happy campers. Anybody home?
Happy Camper - slang for having a good time, but you don't need to be camping. :-)

Introducing himself and Aeryn to the bloodtrackers--
J: I'm Butch. This is Sundance. We're the Hole in the Sky gang.
Rorf: Butch. And Sundance. I am Rorf.
J: Worf?
Rord: Rorf!
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, a movie about outlaws starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford. John mistakes Rorf for Worf....this had me laughing out loud. Worf is a character in Star Trek: The Next Generation....and the resemblence between him and Rorf is amazing. :-)

On how John handled the bloodtrackers--
A: What made you think of it?
J: It was a hunch. My Dad had a couple of Dobermans.
(Aeryn gives him her patented "What the hell are you talking about" look.)
J: Dogs? They're pack animals. The biggest, baddest dog gets to be the Alpha male - the leader.
Doberman Pinschers are large guard dogs, often portrayed in movies as protective, attack animals.

To the bloodtracker male--
J: Whose calling the shots here, Pluto?
Apparently John's continuing with the whole "dog" kick here.

To D'Argo--
J: Yeah, the BIG SHOT. The one with the BIG BRITCHES...the leader. You are so childish.
A big shot is someone who thinks an awful lot of themselves and doesn't hesitate to share that feeling with anyone.

John offers his hand to D'Argo to shake--
J: Warriors on Earth did this to show that they weren't holding weapons.
(D'Argo considers John's statement with some skepticism, then shakes hands.)
